New Build in Leigh on Sea

A little jaunt down to the seaside is just what the doctor ordered, especially on a lovely sunny day. This new build in Leigh on Sea has been built to look from the outside like a 1920’s villa typical of the area, however when you go inside you see the completely modern open plan design that is becoming more and more ‘the norm’. Tec Bathrooms have designed and supplied 3 rooms in the house, the main bathroom, an en suite wet room and downstairs cloakroom. So let’s start with the main bathroom:

The Pelipal Leo vanity unit and gorgeous sink with a Hans Grohe tap are a great focal point as you walk into the room.  The Pura Arco wall mounted toilet has clean lines and is next to the Clear Green bath.  The shower is a Aqualisa digital with an overflow filler which means there are no taps so no one gets the tap end!

Finally there is a Merlyn Glass shower door and a Bisque Subway radiator/towel rail.

This Pelipal unit really has oodles of storage and as if to demonstrate that our customer has used it to the max!

The vanity unit and mirrored cabinet are both by Pelipal a german manufacturer with a reputation for very high standards of manufacture and a strong design element.

I know this isn’t a bathroom but it is a ‘view to a bathroom‘ but it’s really an excuse to show you the gorgeous feature wall that runs down the staircase and into the living space below.

The en suite wet room uses the available space to full advantage and the clever sliding door means that no excess room is taken up.

Another Aqualisa digital shower with a raindance head, a Duravit Vero basin, mirror by Miller and a Pura Arco wall mounted toilet complete the look.

These detail shots show the clever set up in the wet room of the tiled walls and floor and the drainage system.  At the other end of the room inventive recesses showcase attractive toiletries.

The downstairs cloakroom is a neat little room using a clever design tool of an oversized mirror to make the room feel bigger than it actually is.  The fitted Utopia vanity unit also means that there is nothing on display keeping the room clean and uncluttered.  The toilet and sink are Roper Rhodes and the look is completed with a Hans Grohe tap.
